Committment To International Students
One of the primary motivations behind founding Oxbridge Interns was that we believed there was a requirement for an organisation which offered expert advice about internships for those not lucky enough to have the connections or inside knowledge which is so important. For nobody is this more true than international students who, when applying for internships, face language and cultural hurdles which may be impossible to overcome. We therefore believe our consultants can offer great advice and excellent services which give international students a chance to land their dream internship.
Our commitment to helping international students is enshrined by our exclusive Oxbridge Interns discount. We offer a 10% discount to anyone who does not have English as their first language or anyone who is a member of a university international students society (for example Chinese Society, Arabic Society, African Society, etc). We feel this generous 10% discount will help provide international students with the opportunity to win the top internships their ability deserves.
The desire to support international students also gave birth to our new ‘Perfect English’ service. This service ensures your application(s) are read over by an Oxbridge graduate in English or History, who has spent three years developing the highest standards of accuracy and usage of the English language. Our research into the recruitment policies of top London firms showed us that they were turning down applications on the grounds of the slightest errors in spelling, punctuation and grammar. We do not believe this offers a fair chance to international students who, though often confident and fluent English speakers, do not have the absolute grammatical perfection of a native speaker. This approach leaves applicants who would make outstanding investment bankers, management consultants or lawyers unable to win an internship.
